I have the honor of being able to work with some of the most creative minds whom have both assisted me and inspired me to make some of my best work. Of course, I am still learning what kind of creative work connects with people, but the journey has been rewarding. Archived here is a compilation of work I consider professional and some that I work on as a side-hustle.
A Second Thought
Founder and Organizer
During my time as a mentor for the Gen-X Learning community, I was working on my own project called A Second Thought. A Second Thought essentially is a market-style pop-up event that showcases local businesses that practice ethical and sustainable polices i.e. second-hand merchandise, ethically-sourced material, etc. The mission of this project was to encourage local Charlotte, NC residents to shop mindfully, sustainably and locally.
Photography
In addition to my writing, I continue to practice photography as a way to enhance my writing with visuals but also as a way to practice my eye for aesthetics. Taking pictures of my environment and being able to include them in my projects has been quite fulfilling as has taken my work farther than I had anticipated.
